Method

1. Preheat your pizza oven

Preheat your pizza oven to around 250°C.

2. Prepare the Camembert

Remove the Camembert from its wrapper and place it back into the wooden box.
Score the top in a criss-cross pattern.

Insert thin slices of garlic into the cuts, sprinkle over rosemary, then drizzle with olive oil and season with black pepper.
Place the cheese box onto a small oven-safe dish or skillet.

3. Bake the Camembert

Slide the dish into the pizza oven, positioning it away from direct flame.
Bake for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally to prevent the box from scorching.

The Camembert is ready when the centre is molten and gently wobbles when tapped.

4. Serve and enjoy

Serve the Camembert straight from the dish while hot.
Dip Casalinga Breadsticks directly into the melted cheese.

Finish by adding fig jam and cured meats around the dish to create a festive sharing board, perfect for Christmas entertaining.
